If an individual has completed CPL (Commercial Pilot License) training and holds an EASA or FAA license, the first step to transition to an ICAO CPL license is to convert their PPL (Private Pilot License). To do this, the individual must follow specific steps. First, they must take the PPL Theory exams in Human Performance and Air Law and achieve a minimum score of 75 in each exam. After successfully passing these exams, the person must complete a minimum of 3-4 hours of flight time and then successfully pass a 1.5-hour flight test. Upon completion of these steps, the individual will receive their PPL license in accordance with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards.
Following this, the next step for the pilot is to complete the ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Theory, NVFR (Night Visual Flight Rules), CPL, IR (Instrument Rating), and ME (Multi-Engine) training in sequence.
